Chip Points

Starting in 2019 there's yet another way to get into the TOC!

Collect the right chips and enough of them and show them to the host before the TOC, and you're in!

ALL chips are issued by the host automatically (a few are by request only) but occasionally the host may unintentionally forget to award a chip - in such instances it is the players responsibility to request the chip and the chip cannot be collected at a later date if the host forgets his obligation and the player doesn't remind him.

Some chips are worth points.

You need 8 Chip Points to get a TOC seat.

These chips are worth 1 point each -

The above chips are awarded in Monthly Tournaments and include all ITM (In The Money) Chips, Bubble Chips & First Out Chips.

ITM chips are issued at smaller tournaments BY REQUEST ONLY.

These chips are worth 2 points each -

The above chips include all 3rd place chips (Saturday tournaments only) and all monthly non-NLHE events.

These chips are worth 3 points each -

The above chips are 2nd place chips for monthly Saturday events, and 1st place chips for SNGs (non-monthly tournaments).

And finally this chip is worth a whopping 4 points!

This special Cash Game chip is awarded to all players who have attended 5 cash games.  If you manage to come to 10 cash games, congrats!  You're in the TOC!

IT IS THE PLAYERS RESPONSIBILITY TO SHOW IN PERSON OR VIA PHOTO TO THE HOST THE NUMBER OF CHIPS NEEDED TO GET A TOC SEAT.

CHIPS MAY NOT BE PRESENTED ON THE DAY OF THE TOC.

FOR 2020 - CHIPS AND CHIP POINTS ARE CHANGING!
